Happy New Year, 2023!!
Well this is my first blog of the New Year and I hope that I am doing this correctly. You see, I am not tech savy, but I try my best. Here at Two Become One Ceremonies we are always finding new information either in person, or webinars!! We correspond with other Officiants and Coordinators in our area and outside the F-M area.
With that being said, we found through Wedding Pro the new trends for the year. Here is what we learned.
When creating, you need an excellent idea or design. Reason? Because these are the elements the couple and family can see and touch. So, if you are a person who is interested in what's new in 23' , let's begin.
Tents... tent weddings are very unique in and of themselves. Through out the United States they are seeing colored tents to silhouettes, couples are getting created with this and are looking for something other than white sailcloth to cover all of their events.
Statement signage... even though statement signage has been around for a few years, it is becoming the norm and not the outlier. Statement escort card walls and signage are a great way to impress.
Decor... rugs, couches, love seats, chandeliers? Yes, please I would like that. Making guests comfortable is being taken to a whole new level. And who doesn't want their friends and family to feel comfortable at their wedding?
Barbiecore... as interesting as this sounds, the Barbicore aesthetic is a wedding trend for 2023. These are bright colors and maximalist vibes associated with this trend are very much in line with the 2023 Pantone Color of the Year. This year the color is called, Viva Magenta!
Butterflies... a symbol of change and transformation, all types of butterflies are popping up everywhere in a clients wedding decor. From stationery designs and table numbers to butterfly releases and brooches, you can put butterflies anywhere at a wedding.
Western decor.... While boho wedding decor was the thing for a very long time, western motifs are growing. You might find that couples ask about modern but neutral palettes and tons of texture - luckily we haven't seen burlap make a comeback.
Disco-inspired... rich colors, shiny surfaces, sparkle and maybe even skates on the dance floor? Disco-inspired wedding decor is one to be a favorite in 2023.
As for wedding dresses... colorful is what brides are going for in 2023. Her are the dress trends for 2023.
Colorful (white will always be the classic
Feathers
Gloves and Capes
Ruffles and bows
Scoop and strapless necklines

As for food... these are the trends for 2023 for food.
